Our single descant horn in F is equipped with 3 valves, and it can be used in the high register in addition to the Vienna Horn. It is particularly suitable for chamber music which has originally been composed for the natural horn, as well as for the high parts in the horn that can be found in the works of the baroque and classical periods.
The instrument is fabricated in the classic style with a gusset and a hand-hammered bell.
